Students beat the odds to win Oxford placement
Deserving students Caitlin Van Buren, Ben Wilding and Sarah Kirkham have all won places at Oxford University's UNIQ Summer School. Competition for places is fierce, with 4327 applicants for 1000 places this summer.
Caitlin will study PPE, Ben will study Chemistry and Sarah will study History: Race and Protest. The experience will be fantastic, and will stand them in excellent stead for preparing their personal statements and for the rigours of Higher Education generally.
We are proud of all three, who are exemplary role models to our younger pupils, and we wish them the best of luck for their week at Oxford and for their university applications later this year.
