Class of 2021


Outstanding A Level outcomes in 2021 demonstrate an upward trend in all performance measures over the past 4 years. An impressive 40.2% of the class of 2021 achieved the very top A*- A grades, with 90% achieving 3 or more A levels A* - C.

In Advanced Skills Challenge, the school achieved 100% A*-C with 48.2% of the results at A*-A (18 percentage points above the national average).

Recognising some of the amazing achievements of our students, we are thrilled to congratulate some of our highest achievers on securing their first-choice university places. George Smith achieved a phenomenal 4A* and will be attending Imperial College to study Theoretical Physics. Having secured A*and 3A, Heather Shilling will attend King’s College London to study Maths Philosophy and Adam Marsh 3As and a B will mean he will read Professional Policing at University College London (UCL).

Demi-Lou Lloyd achieved 5 Qualifications 4A, 1B and will be reading Psychology in Birmingham. Emily Lewis 2A*, 2A and will be undertaking Biomedical Science at Warwick. Benjamin Hope-Bell achieved A*, Dist*, 2A and will be attending Swansea to study Sports Science.

Our A Level Performance System (ALPs) value added score is 1, which means we are better or equal to the best score achieved in the indicator, nationally. Chepstow School offers an outstanding Sixth Form provision and our learners make exceptional progress, regardless of their ability.
