Summer 2020 Examination Results Days

Below is a helpful link explaining how qualifications have been awarded this year; staff will be in school to provide any support. https://qualificationswales.org/english/results-2020

Summer 2020 Examination Results will be released to students electronically from 8:00am on the following days:

  • A Level & Level 3 Qualifications – Thursday 13th August 2020
  • GCSE & Level 2 Qualifications – Thursday 20th August 2020

Due to COVID-19 and the ongoing requirement for ‘social distancing’, this summer all exam results will be sent to pupils electronically, as an attachment sent directly to their school Office 365 email address.

Please check that your child has received the ‘Test Email’ which was sent out on Friday 10th July with an attached ‘Sample Test Results Statement’. In the email, we asked students to open the attachment and check that the personal details shown on the ‘Test Statement ‘are their own correct details. We also asked them to send a ‘read receipt’ as confirmation that they have received this communication.

The purpose of this exercise is to establish that students are able to access their ‘Statement of Results’ on exam results day.

Should you or your child have any queries regarding any of the aforementioned, please do not hesitate to contact:

On the day of the results being issued, pupils can access further advice and guidance from either a member of the Senior Leadership Team or Subject Leader.  Appointments will be bookable via Teams.

You can find further information in the attachments below.

Public examinations typically start at 8:45am in the morning and at 1:00pm in the afternoon. However, students must check their start times on their individual examination timetables. Students should arrive 15 minutes before the examination is due to start.  Student examination timetables will detail start times and locations. Please be advised that all students are expected to wear full school uniform to each of their exams.
